Applicability review
A written memo for one contract, before you order.
- Funding source and which Buy America rule applies (FHWA or BABA)
- Trigger date and whether the 55% test applies
- Every lighting item classified: steel, manufactured product or construction material
- Exclusions, existing waivers and the minimal-use steel allowance
- High-risk items and questions to send the owner
Manufacturer cert collection
We request project-specific Buy America certs from manufacturers and distributors, chase them, and check each one.
- Right product, model and project, signed and dated
- Generic "we comply" letters sent back for a project-specific cert
Mill certs for steel
Mill test reports or step certifications for poles, mast arms, anchor bolts and hardware, traced from U.S. melt through coating.
55% component test check
For luminaires, drivers, controls and solar assemblies: a cert of U.S. final assembly and, where it applies, more than 55% U.S. component cost.
Delivery check
Your site contact sends packing slips, labels and photos. We match what arrived to what was certified and flag anything that doesn't match.
Waiver package support
When no compliant product exists: market research, quotes and cost comparisons for the owner's waiver request. The funding agency decides, and approval must come before the product is installed.
Closeout package
Every cert, mill report and delivery record, indexed and ready for your signature, final submission and record retention.
